ARC request to refactor the Security Model to Normative and Non-Normative sections @Paul Elliott @Ravi Sahita @Andrew Dellow
some concerns about having the same requirements that are both must, and should to account for different use cases. No other suggestion, and appears to work as long as explained in the doc.
@Andrew Dellow @Paul Elliott @Ravi Sahita to continue refactoring the security model
Comments, contributions welcome - WIP branch at Editing riscv-security-model/specification/src/chapter3.adoc at andrewdellow---post-ARC-review-modifications · riscv-non-isa/riscv-security-model
Security Model Vice Chair position @Paul Elliott
@Paul Elliott send message to lists notifying we will be looking for vice chair candidates for the security model TG
Security SW Framework, Firmware :- Risc-V gap analysis @Ravi Sahita @Andrew Dellow
from Nick, we have open sbi, but we need to analyse what is missing and decide on the interfaces that should be required. cove defines sbi calls but - sealing, attestation, image update decryption authentication etc. SPD linux uses remoteproc, GP-TEE API could be a secure channel
ALL - please consider what is there, missing, needed from a SW/FW/framework perspective and send your shopping list to security mailing list.
CryptoTG - should this become a SIG ? There are two TGs in planning, HAC, PQC @G. Richard Newell
